Fort Vermilion has had library services since the 1930's. The current library building was opened in 1994. Our library is open 35 hours per week. We have two full-time staff along with many volunteers. Our volunteers include Local Committee and Library Society members,
Our extra-library services include photocopying, laminating, printing and faxing. Our electronic catalogue enables patrons to search for and place holds on books, either in the Library or at home on the Library's web page. As we are not members of the Peace Library System we must pay an annual fee for Fort Vermilion Community Library to be connected to APLEN through the Peace Library System.
